RECREATING And RESTYLING - YOUR OLD OUTFIT IN 4 DIFFERENT WAYS
Hey guys, ssup? I hope you all are able to beat this blistering heat. Have you ever thought of recreating and restyling your old outfit? If not, I hope today's post ll help you to do so. Recreating and Restyling old outfits is my new favorite thing to do. So basically, I ll keep on adding many new stuffs to this series which I ll recreate and restyle.
Recreating And Restyling - Your old outfit in 4 Different ways
Recreate :-
I recreated one of my old one piece and restyled it in 4 different ways. As you can see it in the picture below, all i did is separated the outfit in two different pieces, that's it.
If you have any such old outfit which has a mid-waist elastic fitting, you can easily recreate it by just separating the outfit from the elastic part. All you have to do is start cutting from the top line of the elastic part where the upper half is attached, refer the second picture. The elastic part plays the important role, so please cut it very carefully. After finishing the cutting part you will have 2 separate pieces. That's it for the recreating part, now lets see the ways in which I restyled it.
Restyle :-
I ll show you 4 different ways in which i styled the recreated piece.
Style 1 :- For my first look, I styled it as a tube top by giving it a balloon bottom finishing and pairing it with my all time favorite high waist pant from Forever 21 (Its also my all time favorite brand, haha).
Tip :- For giving it a balloon bottom finishing all you have to do is tuck in the top properly and then slowly start removing the tucked part. You don't have to fully remove it, stop doing it when only few inches are remaining and that's it you have a balloon bottom finishing. Also remember you can only create the balloon bottom finishing when the above portion has a elastic part.
The print itself gives the whole outfit a rich statement so i thought of keeping it simple by accessorizing it with a plain black choker and wearing a kada of the same print. I tied a high bun so that my shoulder line can add more to the whole look and make it look more elegant. For the footwear, I preferred wearing a pair of black stilettos as it goes with this cocktail kinda semi-formal evening look.
Look 2 :- Coming on look two, I styled it as a one shoulder top and for the bottom I paired it with my denim hot shorts and also kept the accessory same. For the footwear, I wore a dark maroon lace mid-ankle shoes as it totally compliments the purpose of the outfit. This look is just perfect for a beach day or just a casual day out in this sweltering summer.
Look 3:- For look 3, I just updated my look two by adding a simple element to it that is by tying a side knot to it. You can easily see the transformation in seconds. The knot makes the top look more attractive and adds a sense of edginess to the look.
Adding a knot to the outfit has always been my favorite thing to do.
Look 4 :- The last look is very simple as I simply styled it as a high waist skirt and paired it with a three-fourth sleeves top. For the footwear, I wore a light tan wedge sandals. This looks completes all the ways of styling the created piece.
